Xahara travel and tours offer an exclusive tour Mukuni Village while in Livingstone Zambia as the Chief of the village encourages visitors to his home which house about 7,000 Leya native people. Gain valuable knowledge of how an African village is run and the day-to- day routines of the people who live in Mukuni village. While visiting the village, qualified headman will escort you around the village to show how traditional houses are built and the what kind of materials are used. In addition, native people are more than willing to share their political affiliation and beliefs within the community. 

With Xahara travel and tour guides, you also get the opportunity of getting introduced to various craftsmen who will exhibit their work and give you a chance to be part of the process. While at the village our clients also get the opportunity to taste some traditional foods and beer that is locally made. Mukuni village is a historical space that has existed for centuries and its not built as a tourist attraction tourist are privileged to be welcomed into the space.

The tour to the Village takes approximately 2 hours and visitors have a chance of gaining valuable knowledge of how an African village is run.
